Dori Rubin, PT

Dori has been a practicing physical therapist since 1982 after graduating from University of Florida.  Having idiopathic scoliosis and wearing a brace as a teen, she underwent treatment by a Schroth certified physical therapist in 2007.

Her personal success with this method reinforced her commitment and interventions to enhance non-surgical methods for scoliosis rehabilitation. In 2010, she completed her certification and became one of the first certified Schroth therapists in the state of Florida as part of the first US graduating class of the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School, which is based on the original work of Katharina Schroth. This certification is under the supervision of the internationally renowned Schroth expert, Dr. Manuel Rigo.

In 2013 she obtained her

C2 advanced certification, BSPTS.

She also is SEAS-1 certified

(Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis) from the Italian ISICO school.

Dori Rubin, PT has over 35 years of clinical experience in all aspects of physical therapy, with postgraduate continuing education coursework focusing on orthopedics, manual therapy and rehabilitation.
